I believe Wisconsin should be. Here is why: the best record, and beat Ohio State, plain and simple, Wisconsin should be number 1!!!!

I couldn't agree more. Wisconsin has been one of the more consistent teams in the country, and they do have the best record. And yes, they beat those Buckeyes. The true number one will be determined on February 25 when the Badgers play OSU in Columbus. If Wisconsin can beat OSU at home, they're definitely the number one team in the country.

You have to go with Florida. They are the defending champions and off to another great start this year. They have struggled at times but show up for the big games, beating a number of top 25 teams easily. I think they beat Ohio State by over 20 points earlier in the season.

I would say that Kansas is playing the best right now but for the full season to date Wisconsin deserves the #1 ranking. They have been consistantly good throughout the year. Nevada Wolfpack is damn good too. I think they'll very quietly finish in the top-5.

The rankings are useless. All that matters is where you're seeded come March Madness and if you can go all the way. And when the tourney arrives......Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Texas A&M are the teams to watch out for.

Nobody. Everyone can't beat a particular team, another teams are on off-years, and no one can win on the road. How can you have a number 1 that can't win a friggin' road game?

the kansas jayhawks all the way, theyve been beating their opponents by more than 30 pts. and did u see them kick nebraska's butt on saturday, they beat by 53 pts!! rock chalk!
