Yes Mexico, the school caters for children from the very rich neighbourhood next to ours (golf estate) - you are right about networking.

You have already answered your own question; your pros outweigh your cons!! (besides, as a mom, arent you tired every night? LOL...may as well get paid to be weary!)

Go ahead. You'll probably love it. Other kids are fun and your kids will get to interact with others. It's great. I didn't go back to work till my youngest was in kindergarten. I was pulling my hair out. I'm a people person. I needed adults. When he hit kindergarten I volunteered in the class. Next thing I know the teacher gives my name to the principal for a lunch/play aide that opened at the school. I loved it. 3 hours a day. Got to deal with the kids, my kids were there too, a couple extra bucks for toys or clothes or whatever. I made tons of friends and it got me out of my rut. It was great. Best years of my life. When there was a snow day I was home with the kids. Try it. Nobody says you'll have to stay there for life. If it gets too much then just quit. At least you tried. The only set back I can think of would be that you might get sick a lot more. Lots of snotty noses. The school wasn't too bad. But daycare the kids don't know what tissues are yet. But my niece used to get sick and I introduced her to Purell and she's pretty good now. She was always sick. Once she started with it the employer noticed that she wasn't out as much all of a sudden and cornered her and asked what was up with that. She showed her the Purell. Next thing ya know there were bottles of it all over the place. Hey. If you love kids and you've got the time then why not give it a try. I would. Sitting at home isn't exactly the best for you anyway. And if you don't go in until 1 then you can prepare most of your dinner before you go and then when you get home just cook it. Good luck.

Take the job, it sounds like a great oppurtunity!
As for the meals after work - plan ahead. Do the prep work in the mornings when your not so tired or on your days off - cut veggies, brown meat, etc. and store in rubbermaid type containers til your ready for them.
Then after work its just a matter of putting it all together and finishing the last minute stuff (ie cooking the noodles for spaghetti dinner) - also your hubby can help out with some of that.
I love being a mom but I also love having a job that I enjoy going to every day as well.
Good luck!

Were i in your shoes i would definitely take the job. You will soon getused to your new lifstyle and you will programme the meals, in my view it does not sounds extremely tiring. You will feel more confident and powerful if you have a job, you will have the sensation that you help the others besides you said you love the contact with the small children. Working with children will allow you to feel rejuvenated, you will get rid of anxiety and worries. In addition it is not "right" to stay at home dealing only with the housework like a woman from the past. This work will give a meaning to your life , you should at least try to work. Good luck !

Things you may have left out:
A-If you have a husband, He may not be happy with it.
B-You will be told by others What you can and cannot do.
C-You will have less time for your own errands.
D- You will have to put more of the housekeeping off on your husband.
E- the one you mentioned but did not put on the list. You don't need to work.
But yeah go ahead. You can always quit later.
