it also has cyberlink power program installed which came with the computer but i cant seen to get it to copy DVDs it will only play them, so how do i copy a DVD to a blank DVD, has any body got good easy to use programs, thanks

windows media player often allows you to rip dvds then burn them.

You would need to upload your movie to your computer and then burn it to your DVD RW. Some movies will be copy protected which means you can not copy them, keep in mind also that movies take up a lot of memory so if your computer can handle it - then make sure to delete it once you are finished

i have 2 programs that rip dvds, gets by the copyright coding, and then a $10 cheap walmart dvd burning software. I will get you the names and links to those later, since they're at home and i'm at work.......but just cuz you have a dvd burner doesn't mean it will burn anything.

Download DVDdecrypter its free. it will copy the dvd to your comp and then you can burn it to dvd r aswell

It can copy and burn copyright protected dvds aswell.
Its all legal cos its for making backups of dvds you already have

first check the disc is blank or not , if it is blank then do try nero burning disc software's latest version it has the option of writing the dvd mode if the problem persists do contact me on my mail ok
