There's a guy at my school that i really like hes all i think about i wait for him to call me everyday and when he does i get butterflies in my stomach but he has gone out with four of my friends and he acts like he likes them when he doesnt and three of them he told me for a fact he never liked them but he wouldnt tell me why he went out with them and the fourth one hes still going out with but he ignores her for me why does he and other guuys do that????

Not sure how old you guys are but he is probabaly at that age where he has no clue what the hell he wants in life or what kinda girl he prefers...
Stop worrying about this - you are not doing anything wrong and there is nothing you could do better - he is just a guy and that's what guys do. Not their fault sometimes as they really have no clue what they're doing...sometimes it is though and it's best to stay away from those ones.
Don't beat yourself up over it - there will be a decent one out there eventually :-)

Let me just say being a guy that we are insensitive at times, but please do not place this onto all guys. I do the same thing sometimes where I will date several girls, but what I am really doing in my mind is giving a few friends a good time. The ones I do not have a romantic interest in I will just hang out with. Those I have romantic interest in I will have a meal with them. When I come to like one in particular, I will take her out, and if she becomes something more in my heart, I concentrate all my efforts on her and stop going on any dates with others. I am exclusive guy at a point.
I do not know if this classifies me as a player because I found that I was hurting close friends who wanted more. I actually helped two of them I had hurt find great boyfriends. I felt bad, and now, I tell girls how I feel about them before I take them on dates or hang out. I tell them this is friendly, or I say nothing if it is possibly more. Lately though, I have become exclusive after seven years of not having a gf. I am falling in love.... I avoid all others for her!

you know thats a good question. i guess it might have something to do with insecurity. thats what my friend said. i also have this friend who has about a million girl friends and he acts like he likes them all including me. luckily i learned this early on so i didnt get emotionaly attached to him in any way.
he could be insecured of getting shot down by a girl he REALLY so he pretends to like all of the so it looks like it's no big deal to him and he avoids being embarassed. i
its people like that that are hard to figure out because their real feelings are hidden deep inside, but once you get to them you feel really special for being the only one who knows the real him.
the tricky part is this: are YOU the girl he really likes. if you want to find this out you should brace yourself beacuse you might be the girl he likes, but you might also not be.
