there should be a number you can ring
if you are with a union you should contact them as they can offer help in these kind of situations

I have worked with lazy people before. Simply do less yourself, then they will have to pull their weight, it works believe me.

there's no point complaining about people high up - if she's that inept, and that senior, she's someone's favourite. personnel/hr officers are useless - they always side with the senior person.

Staff greivance procedures are useless - just lip service, in reality they are a pile of c**p.

you are on your own and have to either stop working so hard yourself (cos that's why she gets away with it) or look for another job. I have been working 15 years and this is my expereince.
Good Luck.

All companies are now required to have a staff grievance procedure. This should be spelt out clearly in your "staff manual" or equivalent. Your company should also have a clear chain of command for these particular issues. Check with your immediate line manager.

If you don't belong to a union then join one NOW!!!
I would complain to your head office and encourage others to do the same. Keep your complaint factual and to the point.

What's that saying? "Kill 'em with kindness"? Do that.

But anonymously annoy her to no end! Create a new e-mail account with her name on yahoo or something and send it to her work e-mail address all day with random messages. You could include how lazy she is, that may straighten her out a bit!

If not, it will drive her crazy!
