read the brief instuctions which came with ipod but cannot find any ref to photos

Open itunes > file > add file to library > my pictures > select the pictures you want to put on. They will transfer to your ipod the next time you update.

You can get them onto ipod Nano as I have all my pictures on mine but I don't know how to do it as mine did it automatically and updates everytime I add new photos to my computer. Try going onto itunes, and go into everything to see if you can upload your pictures. I am positive theres something on their that lets you do it.

you can put your photos on your ipod so you can see it on the ipod, or you treat your ipod like a usb flash drive.
since its a nano, i'm not sure, but to put photos on to be seen on the ipod, you have to go to preferences and allow ipod phots and then set it to the folder w/ your photos.......if its all grayed out, then no it doesn't work.
