The Hypnotherapy and NLP Clinic also supports NLP4Kids. NLP4Kids provide practical solutions to help children overcome emotional challenges, to increase confidence and self esteem and therefore enable children to reach a greater learning potential. The workshops are designed and adapted from the effective techniques in NLP to help children to become better able to manage their own emotional states, to become inspired and motivated by the learning opportunities that are offered to them. The techniques used are delivered in a way that is fun and comprehendible for children, encouraging them to co-operate more effectively with other students as well as improving their confidence and commitment when working individually.

I had a personal "lesson' from a naturopathic dr, and he told me to put on a TV screen in my head a person or scenario that was causing me great stress etc, then he slowly guided me to turn down the volume while having my eyes closed and gradually we got the "volume" of that scene turned down way low in my brain because it didn't have to be loud. It was the principal for whom I was working, and he was badgering me for no reason. One has to practice it, but I think for kids, since most of them watch a lot of TV or video games, this might be the connection you need, but you have to put it in 5 year old language, maybe do some brainstorming with them first because you will "find their 5 year old language" if you listen to them talk about TV and where it is in their heads at that age.

Hmm. I just looked that up to see what it was. I assume you are referring to Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Looks like it's pretty pseudosciency; they don't have any evidence that it actually works, just anecdotes. That's not to say it doesn't work, but they don't seem to even know themselves if it works. I definitely wouldn't try 'teaching' it to kids. And I'd be pretty pissed if I found out my kids were being taught something like that.
