Why Do White People And People From LA Think LA Is The Ghetto???

Is it the movies cuz ghettos are places that are bad to live in without gangs. Gangs are add ons, gangs alone dont make no place a ghetto. I could start a gang on an Idaho farm, that dont make the farm a ghetto You can tell there aint no ghettos in LA cuz whenever somebody there visit the CHI all they talk about is all our vacant lots here and how "intimidating" the highrise projects were. Plus if you ask somebody there what a ghetto is they give you dumb answers. I had this one ***** say "A ghetto is anyplace wit alotta black." Sooooooo all the predominantly black rich suburbs around America are the ghetto too? Dudes make no sense out there when they talk. Its like they forcing the ghetto. There was even somebody there who equated alotta gang grafitti to a place being the ghetto. Anybody can draw over the walls. How that make it the ghetto. Even white boys in the middle of nowere tag walls and highways up. So is that the ghetto? Graffiti is an add-on just like gangs. I even heard ****** from the CHI and NY call LA hoods the burbs, but white people be shook and exttttraaa scared of LA. They be talking bout South Central and sh-t like its Al Najaf. What is it with them and what is with people from LA?

well i live in long beach.and around me is da ghetto.compton,watts,south central,skid row,eastside long beach,inglewood, and east los angeles r ghettos bcuz of da poorness.like u said gangs r just da add ons but if there were no gangs it will still b ****** up.da streets r filled wit trash everywhere,theres like a shitload of homeless ppl everywhere(l.a has da most homeless ppl in da nation)theres even a part of los angeles made just for da homeless,da houses r messed up.and pp r poor.i dont kno wat da **** da CHI is and all dat ****.everytime u hear about dat its just da rich talkin bout there beverly hills and da greater part of los angeles.da highrise projects **** ure talkin bout is just rich ppl ****.u never hear bout da ghetto of los angeles in da news.everytime u hear bout los angeles its always bout da rich and their **** dat they got goin on.da only ghetto **** is sum one dat got shot.but ppl get shot so much da news doesnt put it up unless it was sum lil child or a rich person.dats all.and all i got 2 tell ny is **** them cuz if it werent for los angeles then there wouldnt b no crips,bloods,nortenos, and surenos gangs.so **** da rest.
