That's a tough one. It all depends on if you're up for it mentally and physically. You need to give yourself time to recover both before you get things going again.
That's a traumatic thing to go through and no one should rush you into anything, you'll know when you feel right again.

The general opinion is 6 weeks just like giving birth I believe. If you have intercourse you risk infection also you are most likely to become pregnant again in those first couple of months after. What I would suggest is calling your local planned parenthood clinic or women's health clinic and asking a nurse. You don't want to take chances with this.

I agree with the first answer that you should wait about 3 weeks, but more importantly, when you feel up to it.
Make sure you talk with your mate about what happened, and reassure yourselves that miscarriages are very common, and most women experience one in their life time. If your doctor wasn't involved, you might see her too, just to make sure everything looks OK.

I would ask your doctor first and see what they would say. Have you been checked out physically after the miscarriage yet? I would say once you get your strength back and once the bleeding completely stops then it is probably safe BUT ask your doctor first to make sure.
