at 24 weeks the baby still has a bit of room to move - maybe your feeling its head butt you, or arms - not necessarily a leg. I really doubt you could be going into labour unless you have other signs - but ask your midwife to have a feel around ans she will be able to tell you how the baby is laying and put your mind at ease

I am 26 weeks, my baby is breech position and has been since my 15 week scan, throughout all my checks he has been bottom down and I only feel kicks and movements very low down, sometimes it feels like he is kicking at the top of my cervix and sometimes feels like he is going to kick out of my butt! There is plenty of time for him to turn so I am not worried about it. I don't think you're going in to labour, your baby is probably like mine and favouring the breech position at the moment. If you are very worried then call your midwife, but as you have already had two babies I think you will 'know' for definite when your labour starts. Any deep period like pains and tightening is a sign. Good luck!

Relax, baby is big enough to kick and move about freely, but not too big it's trapped in one position.
My daughter would flip around upside down all the time, she never stopped moving like a washing machine until about 32 weeks when she gotr a bit big too. i doubt you are about to go into labour now, the baby is just exploring, and playing. I must say, when it kicks you in the bladder you will certainly know about that! You're fine, talk to your midwife next appointment to ease your mind.
(Oh and if you really do think you are going to go into prem labour, don;t mess about on here, straight to hospital, call 999 or 911 or whatever if you have to. There can be things done to try to prevent a very prem birth, but the earlier the labour caught the more effective. Buit I really don't think you are one of those so don't worry)

Thats a classic lol I had an ex her name was Shane and before we started dating she got pregnant and the father wasnt around. She would freak out like 10 times a day for me to run over and feel the baby kicking she would take her hands off I would feel and nothing. Have you tried to keep your hands where the baby is kicking and SLOWLY move his hands in??? Worked with us and I hope this helps:D Congrats on the baby boy or girl do you have a name?

hi, I am glad you asked this question. I am 25 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd baby and I too feel the baby very low on my pubic bone area. When I walk I feel very much pressure right on top of my pubic bone and it kinda feels like I have to hold my tummy up cause of the pressure. (Does that make sense)? When my baby kicks he kicks very very low and I am wondering if my baby is breech. Well...let me know if you get any good answers that help you out. Since I would like to find the answer myself.

Good lUck to you and baby!!! :)

I always felt my baby at the left (way left), right in the middle of the bump until my 7th month. She was all over the place then (but always way left). That's just the way she was positioned in there. The doctor did tell me that she was a little surprised that the baby was always so far over but that it was nothing to worry about. It's probably the same with you but if you're really worried go see your doctor.

he can kick from where ever he wants to in there. My little guy kicked along my pubic bone for the first half of my term, and then against my ribs and all over the place after that.

My little guy was engaged at 30 weeks, but he was full term. Engaged has little to due with labor starting, unless you have cervical issues.

at 24 weeks your baby has lots of room to move around in so you will be able to feel the movements all over, they change position a lot at this stage so you have no need to worry

I dont think the baby has turned head down yet so it is possible that it is kicking you near your pelvic bone... not to worry you are not too far along to worry about his head not being down yet =) and no if youre not having any contractions dont worry youre not in preterm labor... another thing make sure you drink lots and lots of water!!!
