Gas stored in a tank at 273 K has a pressure of 388 kPa. The safe limit for the pressure is 825 kPa. At what temperature will the gas reach this pressure?

I guess somewhere around 580K to 581K

If the gas follows pV =nRT (which seems to me not very likely at that pressure ) then pV =nRT p=pressure T = absolute temperature, n number of moles V volume R = constant

p1 V= nRT1 and p2 V = nR T2 as n , R, V remain constant

P1T2 = p2T1

and T2 = p2T1/p1

T2 = 388*825/273 =1173 K = 800°C

I believe it is 589K using the ideal gas law.
