It depends on the clerk. If it's a barman, I give it back because then if they short change you, they'll believe you.
If it's that idiot who works in my local news agent who keeps forgetting to reorder Viz and Empire magazine, then I keep it.

It depends on how much it is and if I need something!Although I would feel guilty coz I have given people too much change myself and then realise so i get stressed. So give it back. it's the right thing to do! Haha. good question!

If your talking about a couple of cents - naw, I probably wouldnt even notice. I put my coins in the charity bowl anyway.
If they gave me to much change in notes, hell yeah I'd keep it! Its karmas way of repaying me for all the times I've been ripped off by overpriced goods and all the times Ive been short-changed by clerks!!

I would give it back, not because I am honest, but because I wouldn't want the person to get in trouble. I'm sure that they wouldn't be making much money.

If you believe in a higher power, then give it back. its certainly possible that "carma" will pay you back. I say be honest because God says he will pay you back ten fold (10x) for doing His work. Man! Those are better investments than any stock broker can muster!

well.. i usually don't could my change... but if i noticed it was too much change then i would go back to the clerk and be honest about it. yesss... i have a jimminy crickey(pinnochio) inside me

If I'm there I give it back. If I don't realize it until later, it depends on how much it is. $5 or more I'd take it back.

I'm honest. I give it back because I wouldn't want anyone to get fired for having a short drawer. Been there.
