Although Buffy has told you all about the cheque cashing scam, you have already worked out that it is not legitimate and you won't get caught by that. The worst that can happen now is the scammers change tack and steal your identity. They have enough information to open another bank account in your name, order a credit card, buy stuff on line or take out a loan. Tell your bank that you have told someone personal information and they will advise you on what to do.

In the time it took to post this question, why didn't you call them? Or go to their website?
