Dear Yahoo friends, we are gathered here this morning to celebrate and remember the life of this fine and reliable pen. From the moment she was uncapped, she gave her all, every time, all the time. Lovely to look at, comfortable to hold, she enabled the flow of ideas, correspondence, drawings and doodles, shopping lists, notes and the secrets of the heart, without hesitation or overpuddling zealousness. She tapped out rhythms, she flew gracefully across the room without complaint when frustration overcame inspiration, she let herself be chewed on during meditation. she was at hand day or night, rain or shine; she was truly a pen for all seasons. She will be sorely missed, but her words will live on so long as paper lasts. As we lay her to rest at last in the Great Desk Drawer, we bid her a fond and loving farewell, in the hope that she once again is fulfilled, this time by the shining light of angelic scribes amid scenes of unerasable glory. Amen.

My deepest condolences. I just lost a good pen a few months ago. The pain really never goes away.
