You mean in the past?
I was born in the late 50's -- these have been interesting times that I've lived through.
But I wouldn't have been born earlier for anything.
Miss the Internet? No WAY.
Not to mention other such conveniences as women's rights.
People tend to glorify the past, and either forget or don't realize the down sides.
For example, the answer that wanted to cross the county in a covered wagon -- that was a HARD slog, and the person may well have not survived.
Think, just to take one thing, infant mortality -- most likely, you wouldn't have seen your 5th birthday. Or how many women died during childbirth. OK, that's two.
"For the music"?!?!?!?! You can get fifties music today, so I don't see the benefit.
No, despite all the negatives today, I wouldn't trade down (back).
I am wildly curious as to what things will be like in the future, though. Drives me nuts that I'll never know.

The 1990's. I was only a child during the 1990's, but the 1990's were the best decade I have seen. The living standard was higher, the "multicultural 90's" was alive and well and loved(at least among the young) and I think the 90's are more peaceful than now. Television shows were much better than the ones we have now. (Secert World of Alex Mack, Doug, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Full House). Not like the shows there are now.

I was born in the 80's , but i would have loved to live during the 50's or 60's. Mostly because of the music, I would have loved to have gone to school with Louis Armstrong, or Marvin Gaye. That would have been awesome! Plus all the drugs being available, that would have been a great experience

Too many great things in each decade...I know I'd like to do it all over.
Man, if I could go back in time I'd worry alot less, and invest in the right stocks!
Most likely, the 60s.
