Well, I imagine the thought that Dado might disapprove of his sartorial style a couple of thousand years later probably didn't lose him TOO much sleep.

Ah, but how do we know Jesus wore multi coloured robes? Does anyone have photographic proof? He may well have worn a nice charcoal grey robe, or white, or black. Its like how do we know dinosaurs were green and brown? They may have been purple for all we know. Its all supposition.

since dye and therefore color in clothes was only for the very rich, he probably was very happy to have some clothes that weren't a variation of beige.
