I've been an Adidas Predator fan since the first shoe. Its my last college season and after that is, it will only be pick up games and the start of my coaching. I've been in games where I'm like, I wish I had some SG studs or HG studs. Any complaints or praises.

I'm used to having kangeroo leather predators, I take good care of. Is it worth the switch?

the reason why i like the predator series, is the way they hug my Achilles, i have problems with them such as tedonitis and some tearing.

I play for a small D3 school. Tri-State. We haven't had numbers for a couple of years so its a joke, I should've quit, but i love the game to much.

I hear ya, my ankles and knees are thrashed-never had surgery. I played club ball in college-8 years-lol. We usually played 4 hrs. a day(atleast), 6-7days a week. Study?-lmao. I can't go near a field w/out wrapping my ankles.(i'm 36)

Your tires: if you like Preds. b/c injuries, you should stick w/'em.
I personally haven't had very good luck w/ "novelty shoes", especially ones early in thier development (i.e. 1st Pred.-I hated it). Why do you like the Pred.?, the grips? or the support? What attracts you to the 50? 'All in one' characteristic? Another brand (Puma or Kelme)? Have you tried the 50? How many HG or SG games will you play? Will you get in a match and say 'I need HG', then have to switch?
You should ask yourself these questions.
Here is my take- Keep the Preds. for normal conditions. Go get a pair of Mundials(or similar) for HG, and some World Cups (or similar) for SG. That way if you need to change, you only need to switch shoes, not build a new one. And, you'll have a time tested boot. You're body is showing signs of wear-stretch more, tape more (sux). I tape 2-3 verticals then a round of horiz. around the achilles area then normal wrap(really helps). I do each stretch the same # of seconds as my age. EX. stretch calves 36 seconds per. My stretch takes at least 30 minutes. My pregame: 1. 2 slow laps 2. stretching 3. 2 quick laps 4. quick stretch 5. normal warm-up(passing, shooting etc...)

If your tires have been good to you, stick w/ 'em.

where do you play?
tough year-i was usually on bad teams too-my u19 won state once, and club team beat 5th ranked Tulane---The way I look at it is 'at leats I get to play'-that's all that matters--LMAO, one of your players would be smarter than half of my last team-bunch of engineers-lots of good jobs in Louisiana for that. Good luck this year.
