Absolutely not. It could win the college age kids, but that's not enough votes to win even one state.

John Edwards could win the 2008 Presidential election without Dennis Kucinich. This team is not a good one. John Edwards running mate needs to be someone else who could get the job done with him. Barack Obama comes to mind. That would be a very powerful team to win the Presidential election.

It makes you wonder why Dennis is so overlooked in the race, he is a terrific guy, down to earth and very smart. Just like Edwards he came from humble beginnings and made himself into a first rate citizen. Both of these men are dedicated to the American worker and the rights of all citizens; John Edwards has started an org. to rebuild the war on poverty and has spent time in New Orleans helping to rebuild homes for Katrina victims. I think the odds of America being smart enough to elect these two great men is 1 in a million, but Edwards would have a good chance with a general behind him. Good question.

Interesting. Kucinich isn't as well known and he is pretty far out to the left. I would prefer Obama in the VP position or someone like Mark Warner. There are more Dems and Repubs in the center than in the right or left.
I really hope that Edwards get the nomination. Rove's smear machine is already putting out "trial lawyer" lies.

Never. Kucinich would drag the ticket to death. He is the ultimate whiny liberal, and he would get eaten alive in a national election. Edwards is not a bad candidate, all things considered, but the "two americas" speech is about all he has to bring to the table right now. Chances are, he's the running mate for Hillary, Obama or Biden.

Edwards and Kucinich may win dog catcher but not the White House.
If those two do get elected I will go to Iraq and open a BBQ pork rib joint.

I agree with Cheryl P. I have been pulling for John Edwards from the start. He makes more sense than Hilliary for sure. And Obama would be an excellent choice for him. They would have my vote.

I wish they could, but no, I don't believe they would win as a team in 2008.

Anything is possible. Hell, Spitzer won for frick'n Governor of New York.
I can tell you this much, I will be building a lead lined cement bunker in my back yard should he win.
Is he really running? Blech. Better than another damn Clinton I suppose.
