I don't really like the sound of it but, o n thhe other hand it would take power away from our war mongering government which would be a good thing.

Do you mean the principle or a particular policy. Interesting fact: the British PM most willing to hide behind European Foreign policy when it suited her was Thatcher.

European foreign policy is often more about words than actions..
often caught in red tape while individual governments debate among them selves the policy they all agreed upon !
In comparison to Americas it is much more diplomatic.!

Is that the one, that just lets everyone in, or the one that thinks we know whats best for the rest of the world. When we can't even look after our own, young old and sick.
