some body passed me on a sequence no but got no idea what it is used for is it a programe or something or a chat thing help?

Yes, it could be one of the things you have in mind. It is also possible that someone has started a chain game in which your name has been mentioned by somebody, and the person who received your details has called you and passed on a sequence no. Maybe if you could recollect having joined any such chain phone call game, it might help to unravel the mystery.
If someone else calls you again, please do not accept any message of this type unless you get more details. Someone might also be playing a prank on you, but I am sure you are wondering what the whole game is about!
