As the first, he would qualify as the best African-American President we've ever had.

I didn't know there was a job called African-American President. If there is then ok, he might do allright. As far as President of the Untied States. No way. What exactly are his accomplishments that make anyone think he is qualified to lead the country. He has done nothing but tow the party line in the Senate. He has flip flopped on the positions he held while serving in state office. Puhlease!

Why is race even an issue here? The question should be, "Do you think Senator Obama would make a good President?" My answer to that is that I think he would be a pretty decent one.

Good African American President? What about the other hyphenated Americans?

But, no track record, no experience.

Comparisons to JFK are a joke. JFK served 12 years (as a rep and a senator) before he became president.

Maybe after he finishes his first term as Senator. I disdain his abandonment of post, for the lure of the Presidency. It's ungainly and distasteful. Like Herschel Walker, he would best have been served, professionally, by waiting til the term was up, before waging a campaign for Presidency. It shows he doesn't take his Senatorial obligations seriously.

Has B. Hussein Obama ever BEEN to Africa? Can he even point it out on a map? ANd just how does he want to clean up this little mess in Iraq? Even Hillary is getting panicky that Bush might dump it on her.

He has no experience in Washington or running a government. We have no clue to his ability to make executive decision. I think he should at least (at least) be Vice President first, then move on.

No, but I think he would make a great Chinese-American President.
