Once again a misconception regarding Al Qaeda and Iraq. Not a single one of the 911 bombers were from Iraq. Almost all were from Saudi Arabia - yet you don't see us fighting there. Is it because of their tremendous financial interests in the United States? Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden were not linked in any way and Al Qaeda had no influence in Iraq until we invaded and gave them the "in" they needed after we weakened the government of Iraq. Invading any country to extract revenge for what a handful of evil people do makes no sense whatsoever. So - yes - I think we should be out of Iraq. By the way, over 64% of the people in the United States agree with me according to the latest polls.

No I for one do not agree. If we were to pull out now it would make the bloodshed that is occurring now look like child's play. There would be rampant mass killings on the order of the killing fields in Cambodia. I believe if we leave Iraq the genocide that follows will make Darfur pale in comparison. We are in the mess now to leave it before it is cleaned up would be irresponsible of us and it could have devastating affects on the structure of the middle east.

well we have constructed a world of hell over there and we cant just pull out now. we made something that is now going to take a long time to fix. i wish it could be that easy but it wont be so we are just going to have to deal with it many more years.

Yes I think we should bring our troops home to protect our own borders, Iraq can take over and tend to their own country. We are just making it worse by being there.
