Well baseball is different because the ball getting wet can affect the pitching & hitting. Plus the field would get torn up & baseball is played about 5 times per week. Football is only played once a week.

Two reasons. (1) In baseball if the ball is wet, the pitcher cannot control the ball and he can hurt the batter if he hits him. Your talking about a hardball coming at you at 90 something miles an hour. (2) The ball is small so it's hard to see. If the batter were to hit the ball, which they tend to hit it hard, the fielders won't be able to see the ball in time and they can also get hurt.

Therefore it's dangerous to play baseball in the rain.

Possibly because baseball fans would not be so inclined to watch a game while sitting in the rain. If people don't pay to sit in the rain, why try to have a game?

Because football players are too dumb to come out of the rain.
