How could the cow jump over the moon? It's really been a splinter in my mind for soooooo long...I've even tried experiments to get a cow over the moon...but no luck...what do you all think?

Look, for all you SERIOUS people out there who hate Mondays, it was a joke...ya' know...being funny...THANK YOU to the people who actually got the damned joke. My daughter has an overactive imagination...I'm looking for something funny to fuel my day...thanks you once again for the people who have a sense of humor....just keep it funny folks, just trying to laugh...

it wanted to see what the fuss was with the trampoline.
well.. maybe that's where they take their milk when they get really full and everyone is asleep so that it can stay cold until morning. or maybe cows cant really make milk and they wait until everyone is asleep and jump over the moon to fill up and it just so happened that this person wasn't completely out of it they just should have been in bed asleep because sometimes we're just not meant to know the answer.
Did you ask your child why they think the cow jumped over the moon... maybe it wasn't the moon and it was a big white rock stuck in the ground and the cow didn't know how to go around it.
I don't get how cows manage to stand on the side of a hill and eat grass without falling over and rolling down
Anyway as long as everyone knows that milk comes from cows... more often than not.. then it doesn't matter why the cow jumped over the moon....
because going with the...
"hey diddle diddle the cat did a piddle behind the kitchen door, the dog laughed to see such fun so the cat did a little bit more"
version.. probably isn't the best thing to teach kids.. that its funny they pee in the kitchen

I was about to say something nasty but I guess I have kids too. Soooo, the cow jumped over the moon since the person who wrote that rhyme was probably a farmer who tripped near a cow which surprised the cow which made it jump, Now the guy who tripped was so dizzy from falling that he thought that when the cow jumped he saw it jump over the moon (he was on his back and it was dark outside - except for the moon.)

Big strong daddy got a rope and laso the moon.Pulled it down just so the cow could jump over it. Or u could just tell her it is pretend...Worked for me.
