i played it at a couple parties before but i forget exactly how to play it. its not the one where you wink or the one with angels and detectivies.

i guess we would draw cards and whoever had the jack was the murderer. we then turned the lights off and the murderer would hav to find and tap someone who would then scream and 'die'. then someone has to guess who the murderer is..does anyone kno wat im talking about? and is that how you play?

if you mean an all girl party then here are some good games::

WOULD YOU RATHER- sit in a circle (like you would for truth or dare) someone goes first and asks a would you rather question like "Would you rather be popular or smart?" or "would you rather be burned to death or frozen to death?" questions like that. Everyone can answer or just one person it doesn't matter.

CHEETO HEAD- Cover a few peoples faces with shaving cream and then use either cheetos or cheese doodles and throw them at your friends faces and try to get them to stick in the shaving cream. This can turn into lots of fun!

LAUGHING TRAIN- One person lays on their back and another person lays with their head on that persons stomach and so on forming a zig zag formation. The first person laughs "ha" and the next person laughs "ha ha" and each person adds a "ha". pretty soon everyone will be laughing hysterically!

PASS IT- this game is usually done by boys and girls, but it can be done by just girls if you want. everyone sits in a circle and one person puts a playing card (from a deck of cards) onto their mouth and blows in holding it there without using her hands and she turns to the person beside her and that person has to put her mouth up to the other side of the card and blow in while the other person blows out and the card is passed like that around the circle.

QUESTIONS- everyone gets a chair and sits in a circle one person starts and asks a question to a person such as "are you wearing yellow" or whatever question they want to ask. If the person answers yes they have to move and sit in the seat next to them if there is someone already there they have to sit on their lap. Then the next person is asked a question and if they answer no they stay where they are if they answer yes they must move to the next seat. The first person to get to their original seat wins!

SHAVE THE BALLOON- cover a balloon with shaving cream and use a razor and try to shave as much cream off of the balloon without letting it pop!

I'm pretty sure you're right on target. I loved to play this game:

It was called Light As A Feather, Stiff As A Board.

HOW YOU PLAY: One player lays down on the ground. Everybody puts two fingers under the person on the ground. Everbody (except the person on the ground) chants Light as a feather, stiff as a board. Over and over. Then you should lift up the person after so many times. It's reallty freaky, because the person goes up! If you only have about 5 people at your party, have 1 person lay on the ground, 2 people on the side where their ribs are, 1 person at the feet, and 1 person at the head. If you have more people, that's great! It doesn't affect the game at all.

in all my game playing, there has to be a proper mood staged for each game played. In the question you asked, have you ever thought of setting a stage on how a murder takes place? The mind is a tricky one. Picture the game "Clue," and go by the rules for that and if you would like, make other settings for your game. Try and make the game challenging for those around you and have fun with it. The best time to make these settings is in the evening ours. A cold drafty room, pick out a item and then use the cards. well, when i play, everyone sat in a circle. Then, we would draw cards to choose the murderer. Then, we chose a detective (the person who would try to guess who the murderer was). Then we got back in a circle (we did not turn off the lights) and when the murderer winked at you twice, you would wait 3 seconds and "die". then, the detective had 2 guesses to catch the murderer before everyone but the murderer "died". Thats how i played it at parties, but your way seems sensible.

The one I've played is either where you walk around the room shaking people's hands. If one scratches you, that person's the murderer. You have to "die," and you can't let anyone know who it was. Then the detective has to figure it out.
