I need to do it again, but dont remember all the things we did. Of course Ive already done the delete history, cookies..go to the RUN menu and type in %temp%...but there were several other things we did..and I can NOT for the life of me remember what they were! PLEASE gimme some help! THANKS!!

Ive already done the "typical" clean up..clear private data, etc. I need "not so general" clean up...i.e. %temp% under ur RUN option..etc. Things like that! THANKS!

I could tell you, but it's MUCH better to let CCleaner do the work for you, because it cleans not only your Internet cache, but a lot of other crap (the first C in CCleaner stands for 'Crap', apparently) that's on your harddisk.

You can download it here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Click 'Analyze', then 'Run Cleaner', then 'Issues', 'Scan for Issues', 'Fix Selected Issues' and click the appropriate answers to the question boxes that follow. I never store a backup in the registry, but feel free to do so if it makes you feel better.

Finally, make sure to run the Windows Disk Defragmenter: click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter. The program starts, just click 'Defragment' right away, you can skip the Analyze phase. After that, your computer will be in pretty good shape again. :-)

Follow the following steps:

-Go to toolbar on the top of the web page

-Click "tools"

-Go to "Internet options"

-At the bottom you can see" clear history"

-click that and the history of all the web pages you have visited goes off.
