All the Europeans will agree with me and all the Americans will disagree I know that they invented m&ms and snickers but thats not the point even though snickers is American the european version tastes different to the one of the US. there chocolate tastes like vanilla ours tastes like choclate. I hate Hesrshey bars they are the Americans equivalent of Galaxy, they have a after tatse of vomit or Reese, too much peanut butter, the only decent choclate bar in North America is Oh Henry which i think is Canadian

American Chocolate is AWFUL. SO bitter! No one would eat it if they knew any better!

Again with the American is better/worse! I've had enough! Its chocolate. The posher and more famous it is. The more disgusting it tastes. As for American chocolate tasting worse? Don't make me laugh! Don't you know that 3 of the worlds largest exporters of chocolate are American? As a English person I guess I shouldn't like the Yanks for the attitudes at least but.... I Don't Care

I have been there in america, and your choclate tastes weird, kind of like some pharmaseutical product. Now if you really wanna taste delicious chocolate, you`ll try to get a hold of Swedish chocolate plates producted by marabou. After that, you wont even call american chocolate bars a chocolate anymore.

English Chocolate is better than American, BUT European Chocolate is far far superior to ours, using more cocoa solids, try a continental Dark Chocolate 71% cocoa, and then an English plain chocolate no contest.

So true, I used to actually think American candy was good, but then I went to Germany and discovered real chocolate! And there you can get a 100 g choc bar for 35 cents, and it's just as good as hershey's.

I think US chocolate is terrible. I remember reading that its because the chocolate is designed so it can be transported long distances unrefrigerated. I don't know if that's true or not.
