Ok = just cause you cannot sense something with your five senses doesnt mean it doesnt exist... Just like humans are made out of clay, jinn are made out of fire - we cannot see them - though they can see us - they can make themselves visable to us, but that is by their own choice it seams.. Satan is a Jinn, unlike the judeo-christian concept where satan was a fallen angel, Muslims believe that angels are infallible.. Jinn may by strong and powerful, but dont have the intellectual capabilities that humans have. Also, there are good jinn and bad jinn just like there are good people and bad people - it is a silly notion to think about them taking over the world - they have their own lives to live - they are a seperate species altogether its like ants wondering why cockroaches dont take over the world cause they can fly and they are so big...

In Arabian and Muslim folklore jinns are ugly and evil demons having supernatural powers which they can bestow on persons having powers to call them up. In the Western world they are called genies.
Legend has it that King Solomon possessed a ring, probably a diamond, with which he called up jinns to help his armies in battle. The concept that this king employed the help of jinns may have originated from 1 Kings 6:7, "And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought there, so there was neither hammer nor axe nor and tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building."

In Islam, jinns are fiery spirits (Qur'an 15:27) particularly associated with the desert. While they are disruptive of human life, they are considered worthy of being saved. A person dying in a state of great sin may be changed into a jinni in the period of a barzakh, separation or barrier.

The highest of the jinns is Iblis, formerly called Azazel, the prince of darkness, or the Devil. The jinns were thought by some to be spirits that are lower than angels because they are made of fire and are not immortal. They can take on human and animal shapes to influence men to do good or evil. They are quick to punish those indebted to them who do not follow their many rules.

In the "Arabian Nights" jinns or genies came from Aladdin's Lamp.

There are several myths concerning the home of the jinns. According to Persian mythology some of them live in a place called Jinnistan. Others say jinns live with other supernatural beings in the Kaf, mystical emerald mountains surrounding the earth.

From what other legends I have read and heard, the jinn, or genies, have vast powers granted to them, but are powerless to use such for their own purposes, gains, etc.

God creates human from soil, angel from light, and Jinn from fire. Jinns are creature who are invisible. Few people can see or feel it, but most of us cannot. They have more power than us because they can see us while we can't see them. They have long live, thousands year or even more. They live here with us but in different dimension. We cannot touch them. Some of them are kind, but most of them are evil. Their mission is to lead human to the wrong way / to the darkness.
Hmm... let me tell u the story...
When God first create human (Adam), He command all of His creatures to bend down toward Adam (to respect Adam). Angels, mountains, and all the things in this world do that except Jinns/ devil. The devil felt that Adam didn't deserve to get his honor. Devil felt thet he was much better than Adam. Thus God decided to punish the Devil. But Devil begged to God not to punish him that time. Devil asked to life until the end of the day to mislead human, so that those human will accompany devils to live in the hell after the end of the day.

actually they got there own world and we ours that's right that they live on this world (earth) and might be on other planets too but a human eye can't see them but if they want to be appear before us they can ......you can call it some type of magic they got this type of powers and it's natural ..........yeah they can go through walls, human body and every other thing that we can see.....................see as they are like smoke or air to us same like that their walls and other stuff is unknown to us maybe where you are sitting they got their bedroom up there they .....................nothing interrupts our live nor ours to them neither their to us until they or we try to do so. .................................but human didn't got those powers naturally he has to learn it and work out on it to get it ........................................................................................It's the truth (each & every word) you believe it or not.
