Its been so long since I've used that Java based nightmare. Man, seriously, switch to Utorrent. I was gettign 40-50kbs average with Azureus, Now I'm getting 300-400kbs and thats with axxo's stingy torrents.

To answer your question, it sounds like you're peaking out on ram. Its to large of a file to dump. seeing that Utorrent is C++ based, its only about 30% of the resources used.

at full speed I'm using about 3k as opposed to az using 54k-90k

Two of Azureus' main features are daily demands to be updated and the user-unfriendly error messages. I don't know why I used it as long as I did, but when my cable modem started hanging every time I used Azureus, I uninstalled it and got uTorrent. That fixed it.

you can go in to your mail preferences and change that, your filter can be set to accept different sizes of data files, yours must be set to a small size , it can be enlarged
