i know it sounds like a silly question, but if you think about it its not. is it plural, pastence or future-tence.

Did is normally past tense...singular

I did my homework yesterday.
Did you clean the bathroom?

Do is normally future tense....singular
Can you do me a favor? I'm going to do the dishes later.

Does is present tense....singular..

Does he look tired?
Why does my hair look like this?

does,is pastence,did is pastence and do is future. He does if over and over. plural,

does- past and future things being done ex. how does he do that magic trick?
did- something being done in the past ex. how did he drive when hes 13? (dont ask!)
do- something done in the present or future ex. how am i gonna do that?? + do is doing something j/s/u/k (just so u know)

How do you answer a question? I just did. My friend does, too.

(Did is past tense, do & does are present tense)
