I would say give your Dr. a call, with a history of premature labor it is better to be safe.

Especially with your history a call to the doctor would be advisable and I am sure they will understand. Braxton Hicks are generally up higher and while they can be quite uncomfortable they should not hurt. Period like cramping is generally a first sign of labor and was what I noticed first with all 3 of my babies.

I would go into hospital just to make sure... if you have heavy cramps with the contractions you may be going into labor, if it is just little cramps all the time, it may jts be your muscles stretching. I would call the doc for advice, and do what he says. My first preg i had the same problems as you, and was in the hospital all the time for false alarms, but it was worth keeping the baby in, now she is happy and healthy. Good luck.

i have been advised if my " braxton hicks" hurt enough to keep me awake or wake me in the night to go straight to the hospital to be checked.
id give your hospital a quick ring you have a history so they will totally understand
good luck x x x x

sounds like braxton hicks but i'd go to the doctor just to make sure it's nothing more serious than that. good luck and congrats.

menstrual like cramps are real contractions, or al least that's always what mine felt like. braxton hicks contractions shouldn't hurt and they will mostly be along the top of your belly. real contractions are down low.

Better safe then sorry, you'd feel a lot less worried to have a DR tell you it's no big deal then to have all of use give you advice from our situations.

I would call the hospital, talk to a nurse and go if you have to. Especially if there is any bleeding.
