Well dont do what I did having clothes that you hardly ever wear stuck in a Wardrobe/closet, and then on examination after a few years they dont fit anymore. Then I brought them to Oxfam which I do now on a regular basis after I check do I really want them anymore. I have a regular comb out to see if I need it anymore.If it is in good condition I give it to Oxfam , if like shoes for example can be in poor condition I chuck it out. Use it or lose it dont keep it lying around Selfishly hoarding it ,someone out there might need it.

Why do you want to give clothes away that you still like? There is no reason to give away clothes you like. But if you truly want to be rid of them, think about how they are just pieces of decorated cloth sewn together. Think about bad things that happened when you wore that outfit.

if you don't want to end up with a mountain of clothes you never wear, and worse, no place to put new purchases, you have to pear down. Anything you haven't worn in a year, find it a new home, every time you buy something new, something old has to go

You need to learn to let go of things, otherwise you will be overcome by things. The saddest thing i ever see is people crying over lost possessions. When you leave this world you can take nothing with you; therefore, practice letting go of possessions. If you cannot let go, then you become a slave to your goods and they rule your life. This ought not to be. It is given unto you to be a steward of the things of this world, not in bondage to them. Make a habit of giving rather than hanging on to. You will find more pleasure in giving than in hoarding. Learn not to worship material things---this is idolatry and can lead to much trouble in your life, particularly indebtedness.

spend some time at a woman's shelter or other homeless facility with some people who have no clothes doesn't take long to realize how selfish we can be and are
