Yes, I had the same question, and I called my local UPS store.

Man, have u had a lot of Koolaide... Blaming the democrats for negativity? Please. The dems are a sorry lot, but I'm not feeling terribly negative about them or the country. Really, you sound like a mouthpiece for Karl Rove. As for whether or not George Bush is satan, well that has yet to be determined. If there is such a thing as god and the devil (you know, the one George claims to speak to in his prayers) then he should swear to him or her and tell the truth under oath--something he and his minions won't do about anything--from 9/11 to Gonzalez and all the firings. If there is a feeling of negativity, I'd say it emanates not from democrats, but from republicans because they are realizing that the party is almost over and everyone has to pack their bags and go home. But, again, it feels more positive every day from where I'm sitting. After all, we're about to be rid of arguably the most inept, moronic president this country has ever had. Your pal Tocqueville didn't have the internet and the fluidity that it is incorporating into this era. Information flows are not limited to the voices of newspapers or speeches. He never had TV either, but even that medium has been shown to be very controllable. I'm not sure the internet and whatever later technology it spawns will be. In other words, the truth is at many more fingertips and will continue to be. As such, I'd replace 'negative' with 'better informed.'

UPS and FED EX do not recognize holidays if their package is on time and available.

Why don't you call them to find out?
