I know what you mean, and you can always tell when its on in the background, as the canned laughter is so bad.

I know what you mean its an example of a type of American "comedy" that is marketed for a certain audience namely Girls and Gays i no that sounds prejudice and have nothing against either and its clear that not all girls or gays like it but the producers seem to think so its more of a drama about relationships and not a very clever one.

FINALLY!
Someone who agrees with me. That show was SO stupid I never understood why it lasted so long. I stopped watching after the first few episodes.

God, I hated that show! Probably the worst acting I've ever seen! So glad it's off the air now. That was a copy of Seinfeld anyway!

Excellant. I hated it, was it actually meant to be a comedy? Did they pay the actors or did the looney farm lease them out for the day free of charge?

I didn't like Friends, but the Americans have a stupid sense of humour.

Yes. It was a big pile of steaming horse poo, and it really irritates me still today. My poor little brain is subjected to enough over-processed saccarin sterotypes in the form of girl bands and 'I'm-a-celebrity-feckin-shoot-me' pop-'entertainment'. BAH HUMBUG.
