In school once, we were having self-defence classes. At the end of the classes, we were aloud to fight eachother, with one rule. You cannot go for the face with a clenced fist, it has to be open and it can only be a small tap nothing hard.
The guy that I was fighting hit me with an open palm which was fine but it was full force- NOT ALLOWED. The instructor did nothing about it and I ignored it-----until he did it again.....I lost my temper and I clenched my fist and gave him a black eye, which I nearly got expelled for................When did you ever lose your temper?!!

I'm older now but in my 20's I worked at this bar.I had a bracelet that I left on the counter and someone I worked with came in to have a drink. She was wearing my bracelet. It was a very different kind of bracelet so I knew it was mine.I was mad already because she thought I was stupid enough not to notice it or confront her about it.Anyway when I ask her what she was doing with my bracelet on she said it very nasty. It's mine b**ch. Next thing I knew my hands were around her throat and someone was trying to get me off of her. I never lost my temper like that again. It scared me.Oh I got my bracelet back too.

Hey, the way I see it, he was pushing you...you did the right thing in standing up for yourself.
People will often times push you to see how far they can go with you, to see what you're made of, or to learn how they can treat you.
Remember this- You teach people how to treat you.
And you taught that guy you won't take it from him. Good.
Of course in these days the teachers seem to want everyone to be nicey-nice, they lost sight of how it really is.
Sure, I lost my temper. Generally I can walk away. If that isn't possible, I talk it out. If they're just a bonehead and you can't get anywhere with them, what I do is remember who they are, and avoid them...see, you CAN choose who you want to be around, right? So if some clown is treating you like dirt, you don't have to put up with it. If you do, then you're volunteering for it. Why would anyone want to do that?

that whole take deep breaths, punch ur bed like a madman, and screaming into ur pillows works well. then sit for like five minutes doing nothing, just coolin off. then u can get back to whatever ur doin.
also i wouldnt have punched him. i would have pimp-smacked him into next week. :) thats just me tho
EDIT: oh also u know tim duncan. well theres this weird look he gives ref's when hes pissed. try that. look at them, dont frown or anything. just look at them for like ten seconds. dont even blink. theyll get the picture

SCREAM in a pillow (in the walk-in closet) Makes me feel much better, and nobody has to deal with my issues.
