I wouldn't say anything, because it might hurt your chances of getting the job. Once you prove yourself that you are a valued employee your work will compensate for the couple of maternity leave weeks that you are entitled to.

I am trying to get preggers now so don't know exactly but I would think that unless you are at a job that requires heavy lifting, being around noxious chemicals or any type of risky situation for your baby, there isn't a timeline to tell. I think it is when you feel most comfortable and have maybe found out from other moms what it was like for them.

I had that happen to me, except I was the person doing the hiring... needless to say the person did not tell me at the time of the interview - but three months later we all new! It put a burden on the team because we spent the first three months training, and then had to start all over again when she came back - All in all she is one our best employees..
but I suppose that depends on how "bad" you need the job. Once they hire you they cannot fire you because of it.

You should advise your manager within a 1 to 2 month time frame. Sometimes as women telling others about your expectancy is a personal decision and should be advised in confidence. Employers are more considerate and understands the importance of expectant mothers. Advise your spouse or mate of your plans to tell your employer.
It's O.K. to advise them and the sooner the better.
Congratulations!

It's best to be up front about it. That way they can make plans more quickly for when you go on leave.

As soon as you know you are pregnant, or when you apply for the job. Integrity isn't a bad thing.
