No, as India is still a developing country & all the people here are not rich. There are also a lot of poor people in India, some are below poverty line & some don't even get 2 square meals. Govt. should make a rise in prices in such a way so that every one is able to cope up with it.

Previously the vegetables will be sold by the street vendors. The vegetables will find the market, only through by an bullock cart vehicle, and by lorry, and by bus ,and by train more so by goods train. But as on date the vegetable is moving to the market by Air planes.Definetly the price will be hike.In most of the places all cultivable and agricultural lands are being converted to multistoried buildings and utilised for avenues for Devlopment of Software for Foreign Bandygoots. And in fine our Agriculturist himself is fedup with the system of agriculture were the nature itself has spoiled the minds of the agriculturist by not giving the rain at the appropriate time and sometimes heavy rain and some time floods. It is that vegetable market is also at the mercy of certain business tycoons of India, the Indian Govt.has no say in the price hike of the vegetable.
