i said PROSPECTIVE. The person you are interviewing with. When they ask why did you quit.

when leaving a job you dont have to tell them why you quit, just thank you.

I had quit a job with similar reasons. I simply stated in my interview that my previous employer was not holding up to agreements made at the time of hire. No pay raise, as promised, job duties were more I could handle and not as described at the time of hire. I decided to pursue employment that was honest and reputible. Any desent employer should understand your reasons for leaving. Good luck!

Have some class. Just say you quit due to personality clashes with your boss and also because you've found a better opportunity. The HR manager will definately know that your boss was a nightmare to work with and the pay wasn't good. If you are valuable to them, they might actually match your new employer's offer or better. If so, you could the negotiate an awesome deal for yourself.

There may not be any gain in leaving bad relations behind. Hence, quit the job and say that you are moving on for a new position for unavoidable personal reasons.

I would not tell them you hated your boss, your not suppose to give negative or hateful information it may make you look bad. I would suggest stating you are seeking employment that will help you to better yourself and pay approiately.

You quit for 'personal reasons' you don't have to tell them anymore than that and they have no right to ask you.
