Theyre hypocrits that have ONE talent, they can manipulate anything. Alright so Iraq has been what, 4 year war so far? And there have been 3100 casualties; that is the smallest ratio of soldeirs killed it ANY American war in History. But somehow they make it sound like the end of the world.
And something in their head tells them its fine to murder innocent babies but not put a convicted murderer to death.

Outside of the fact that the Democrats (no seats are held by a Liberal party) haven't had the power in twelve years to affect a vote, and so if you have a problem with the way the war has been mishandled blame your own please. It could just be that even with packing the Supreme Court its seems you can't just ban abortions that endanger the health of the mother. Nothing less would seem to do, so Republican judges,Congress, even the President can do nothing in the face of such stubbornness, nothing short of insisting women die will in fact float the boat of the so-called pro-lifers.
Yes, Democrats do wish to honor the sacrifices the soldiers have made, but for the first time in my 60 year memory we have no photos of rows of solemn flag draped coffins to bring a tear to ones eye in remembrance. Those photos, so touching in other wars, have been banned by the Bush administration as, suddenly, being 'disrespectful'. So then, was it 'disrespectful' in all the other wars? Or is this war somehow something which we aren't encouraged to look to closely at, something which will not bear the scrutiny of history?
I worry more, I must confess, about the living, breathing, human with responsibilities and lives, than about an embryo or fetus. That's the way I am, no apologies about that, and I don't insist on laws that force abortions, any more than I want you to insist on laws that force childbirth.

First off, I am a liberal but I do not believe in abortion. I would never have one. I object to the tens of thousands of Iraqi children that have died needlessly in this foolish obsession of George Bush. Yes, many soldiers have died and about 23,000 others wounded and maimed for life. But.....this need never have happened. We went into Iraq under a web of lies by Bush. These brave guys went into harms way to do their best for a petty little want to be dictator that would not even serve when his own time came. One thing has nothing to do with the other. Although I hate the idea of abortion, I cannot force my views down the throat of everyone else. This war could have been avoided. 655,000 Iraqi would still live, many of them innocent women and children. This war was in the making long before the tragedy of 9/11. These sacrifices that the soldiers so bravely have made need never have happened. This was not a necessary war, this was a vendetta from a little coward that sends others out to bleed and die while he plays war games.

Just for the record, let me state that I am 100% against both abortion and the war in Iraq. However, I feel I must comment on the complete ignorance of prenatal development displayed by pro-aborts here. People, by the time an abortion is committed, there is no "clump of cells!" By the time most women know they are pregnant (3 weeks after conception), their child's heart is already beating. The average age of an aborted baby in America is 10 weeks. By that point, the child has recordable brain waves (since 6 weeks) and is fully formed (since 8 weeks). All her organs are functioning. She is moving in the womb and can suck her thumb. If her palm is pricked, she will open her mouth and pull her hand away. "Potential life" doesn't suck her thumb or respond to pain. There is no debate in the medical community about when life begins. From the point of conception, we are unique, living, growing human beings:

exterior of the actuality that the Democrats (no seats are held via a Liberal social gathering) have not had the means in twelve years to electrify a vote, and so in case you have a difficulty with the way the conflict has been mishandled blame your very own please. it ought to easily be that regardless of packing the splendid court docket its seems you won't be in a position to easily ban abortions that endanger the wellness of the mummy. no longer something much less might seem to do, so Republican judges,Congress, even the President can do no longer something in the face of such stubbornness, no longer something wanting insisting women human beings die will actually glide the boat of the so-stated as professional-lifers. specific, Democrats do choose to honor the sacrifices the warriors have made, yet for the 1st time in my 60 12 months reminiscence we've not got any photos of rows of solemn flag draped coffins to deliver a tear to ones eye in remembrance. those photos, so touching in different wars, have been banned via the Bush administration as, without notice, being 'disrespectful'. So then, replaced into it 'disrespectful' in all the different wars? First liberals work for the defeat of the US in any conflict that would advance our position in the world and will only support military action if it does not benifit the US (think Kosovo or Darfur) As to abortion, while most liberals react in a knee jerk fashion to this issue, I suspect some of them realize that without abortion on demand this country would soon be buried by it's underclass

A very good question.I think every individual at yahoo answer needs to answer this question. When we talk about liberty, freedom etc etc then why do people kill the child in the womb itself. Its like stealing his rights,it is his right to come to this earth,to see this earth,to enjoy the beauty of this world. We want to see the whole of the world,we admire this world and then when a new life wants to see it,they kill it.Very selfish act.

Well, that's because many of them don't see a microscopic blastula of cells as a viable life, opting instead to give the mother the right to do what she wants with her own body. They see it as a potential life, not an actual person. And frankly, it's not a person yet. Every sperm and egg is a potential life, right? Every time I have sex with a condom, am I murdering millions of babies?
By the way, liberals don't hate the soldiers. They hate how the President has put our precious soldiers into harms way for stupid reasons. They hate how Bush has endangered us all with a very poorly-executed war with no real goals and lied to the American public about why we are there. Get it straight. We all need to blame the person who put us into the mess, not the people who are complaining about it. If soldiers are disheartened by what's happening, blame the person who sent them there!

Abortion and Iraq are not the same issue. The only purpose of using them together in a question would be for grandstanding.
