It would depend on where you live. I`m in Quebec and it`s Videotron here.

Hi If you open your browser and type in Broadband you will get a list of companies look through them that will give you an idea.
I am with BT /Yahoo at present but as a pensioner I need to save money so I am thinking of going over to Sky very soon.
One tip dont go with bulldog I had weeks of problems with them they did not ever supply my broadband but they did tie my line up for weeks

You forgot to say where you live - which makes a big difference to the answer. If you live in the UK go here for an independent assessment of what is available in your area: http://www.uswitch.com/Broadband/Index.aspx

Shop around.
Try to work out what it is that you need.
I've just moved from AOL to BT. The latter have some very good offers on.
Be careful not to opt for more than you need.

You'll have to decide which package suits you best.
You might not need unlimited bandwidth. I usually get by on 2gb or less per month, so Metronet is good for me. £13.75 per month http://www.metronet.co.uk/
