Chobits isn't a Hentai.
It falls under the category of Ecchi (derived from the letter H -- H as in Hentai)
Ecchi is basically indecent nudity, not Hentai (Anime Porn).
I would suspect the Manga cuts out most of the indecent stuff, as i've seen it in my library not too often, and it wouldn't be allowed viewing if any nudity was in it.
So no, The manga cuts out the indecent nudity.
The Anime however does leave in the indecent nudity.

it's not a hentai manga, it's more of an "ecchi" manga. and well, i've stopped buying it ever since i picked up a copy of volume 1. i prefer watching the anime rather than reading the manga (chobits).

I dont think so, It is the Anime version not the hentai version. So its clean. I got 8 books so far and havent ready any but I have seen the series. I dont know what you mean by the hentai version which is probably in Doujin version. Sorry I wasnt any help

Yes, I have, and no, it isn't. It's not porn, it's basically the same as the anime series except without some of the fanservice episodes the anime added. And the ending is a little different as well. But it's really good, and IT'S NOT PORN.
