Sure you can. It's called communism.

Please look to Venezuela for guidance on this subject. Notice how their economy is spiraling out of control.

We already have a party that works to keep gas prices down.

They are called the Democrats-championing energy efficiency.

If you really want to keep gas prices down....then use less gas, and drive enviromentally friendly vehicles...like a hybrid.
