It works great. Selling because I am getting new appliances. It was probably purchased in the 80's.

Whatever the market will bear. Generally, $20 - $50, with the low being: want to get rid of it and the high: want something for it as it is valuable. Your choice.

In that color it was probably actually from the 70's. If it does still work well, you may want to check in your area to see if there are any businesses which specialize in appliances and other household goods of of that era, they may be called Retro or Restoration.

I don't know how much money you can expect to make on an appliance from that era. Goodwill or the Salvation Army would be good choices to call if your decide to donate it. Some older appliances may not be up to today's electrical and safety codes, so you may not be able to sell it at all. Good luck and enjoy your new appliances.

You may just want to give it away. Most recycle centers now charge up to $50 to accept refrigerators because of the freon in it. Disposal is getting more expensive all the time. You also have to figure out a way to either take it to the recycling center or pay to have it hauled there.

Long story short, even if you give it away, you are dollars ahead.

They aren't worth very much, but $25 shouldn't scare anyone off. Advertise it as a garage refrigerator.

If you needed a fridge and the one you found was an outdated color (gold) what would you PAY for it? I can't imagine that someone would really be looking for a gold refrigerator.

Remember, what you own has more value to you than it does to the person you are trying to sell it to.

Honestly, I would just be trying to find someone to take it for free and hope I didn't have to pay someone to get rid of it for me.

Any chance you might want to keep it in a garage for extra refrigerated space?

it depends on the quality. Make sure you don't sell it for too much otherwise people won't want it.
