For God sake please do not contact the North South Skirmish Association or the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War or the Sons of Confederate Veterans of the Civil War they have nothing to do with reenactments. Depending on where you are located there will be an reenactment near you, look on the web then contact the closest one. But to answer your question you can reenact at any age; to fight due to insurance regulations you have to be 16. If you are younger then 16 come out as a civilian and learn about the hobby, the history and when you get old enough sign on with a group. Good luck and thank-you for your interest. God Bless You and Our Southern People.

no specific age, as there are many roles. If you are talking about a battle, which I believe you are these would probably be it:
Soldier: 15-38
Family/Refugees: 6-50
