Im ashamed to admit the 1st single I brought. It was Jason Donovan "Too Many Broken Hearts". My 1st album was by a band call And Why Not and the album was called "Move Your Skin". I still have both on vinyl and the album on tape and cd. I Still listen to the album every now and then. And the person whos answer is above mine (mentioning Boney M) I have been a huge fan of Boney M since I was 4 (I'm 31 now) and still to this very day I listen to their songs at least once/twice a week

Sweet Soul Music was the first album, it was a mixture of Soul artists such as Wilson Pickett Ben. E King, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas.
