You have mistaken. In the TN, but for the DMK, which came to power in 1971, when the Cauvery Treaty expired, TN would not have suffered. The Congress Party would have handled the matter much better than Karunanidhi who was new in the gaddi. If you think that, a just solution is only when the entire water is given to Karnataka, it shall never be acceptable for all the parties concerned. The Tribunal's job was for apportioning the available water among all the riparian States, then the Cauvery Tribunal has arrived at a by and large just solution. There are several points in the Award, about which Karnataka can be justly happy about. It is unfortunate that you are bringing in politics in a matter of life and death to a vast multitude of people in either States. Share and be happy.

congress and its leaders are corrupt to the core. Infact political corruption in india was introduced right from the time of independance and the then Prime ministers were helpless against their own partymen.Later they found coruption a lucrative business and official sanction was given. Seeing the congressmen the other thieves got in each taking his share and also cpturing power here and there. First west Bengal threw out the congress rule ,then keral, then Tanil nadu, then orissa and then other stes. Karnataka is last on the line

well, the ruling party has been misplaced. well in one side ppl fight for kashmir and another side for cauvery water. there is no unity between us... well integration of water coulg be possible only if there were willing and patriotic politicians.
