According to VH-1's list from a few years ago, "Satisfaction" is. But I happen to think that the #2 and #3 are much better songs: Aretha's "Respect" and the Bob Dylan masterpiece "Like a Rolling Stone"

There isn't one, people are different and everyone has his/her own taste, I could choose a best song now, but after a week i could choose another . It will help if you would be more specific, like what is the best song in a movie soundtrack? or the best song that won an oscar, or the best love song , or the best critically acclaimed song, or the best song lyrics or best song composed.....

Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone."
It contains everything a great song is supposed to: a great story (it even begins "Once Upon a Time . . ."), a sense of overthrowing the Establishment, and some great music.
