I would suggest a you go with a wet/dry filter. Very efficient biological filtration and properly built excellent chemical filtration. Offers very good mechanical filtration for the water but not as good for the water near the substrate. (which is good if the fish breed). Goole for DYI wet/dry filters and build your own to save money and get the design that suits you best.

100g? I would use 1 canister(fluval 404 is cheap nowadays) and 1 HOB(Emporer 400 or Penguin 330/350). Just type it in your browser. I'm great with fish, but horrible on computers.
