When it does turn on it won't run for a full cycle.And then other times it won't run at all.What could this be?Wiring,relay switch timer?HELP!!!!

It sounds like a motor problem. If it restarts after setting for about thirty minutes, it's definitely the motor.

The timer may be ticking and go through all the motions, but it doesn't mean it isn't the culprit. The relay contacts inside the timer may be worn. If you are handy, you may be able to take it apart and carefully file the contact points. Sometimes they might need a little bend to make up for wear if they won't touch anymore. Safest bet is to replace it.

It could also be the door switch as already mentioned by another. If you are familiar with wiring, you could temporarily jumper it and see if it works OK afterward, then you know to replace just this item.

My money is on a worn out timer unit though.

Repleace the whole top of the dryer.

you may want to check the switch on the door.
