Salt removes blood stain´s , is it carpet flooring wooden flooring you did´t say if it is carpet then soak the area with cold water pour salt on top leave for 1 hr or so , then blot with kitchen roll always use cold water. then when you see the stain has been removed . wash with a little of your own shampoo this cleans carpet´s very well rinse of the soap with a sponge cold water , then lay a towel with a heavy object on top this will help dry up any water from the underside of the carpet , . leave over night like this . never dry with your hair dryer , natural air . You most likely have to sponge the carpet again as sooner or later the water mark will come to the surface . hope this help´s you

You didn't say what was stained: wood floor, tile, carpet? Oxy Clea, as already suggested would help in most of those surfaces.
You shouuld also check the attic, basement and in and under large furniture items for a body. The smell and decomposition fluids willl render the property unrentable.
Seriously, there are crime scene cleanup crews in the Yellow Pages who specialize in blood cleanup.

Use OxyClean to pretreat it, then clean the carpet to get out all of the residue. There's also a product called KrudKutter that may be able to help, but Oxy will break the bond of the hemoglobin in the blood with the yarns of the carpet. Then the carpet cleaner will take it away.

peroxide....i'm a nurse and have gotten blood out of all kinds of fabric, even carpet. It works and is very inexpensive. however, it could be rather tim consuming. pour peroxide on a rag and scrub!
